"TRUE DRAW" MEASUREMENT (rarely used) Used to check draw length of present bow only if we have trouble with the wingspan measurement. Make this measurement on you present bow (will need helper) See drawing. 1) Tell your helper to use center of the arrow rest mounting hole nearest the string (5/16" threaded hole in the aluminum riser that is used for mounting arrow rest), as the marking spot. 2) Place mark on the arrow at full draw with a pencil at this point. (need another person). 3) Measure the distance from the string grove in the nock to this mark on the arrow. Example: If your draw is 29" this measurement will be about 27 to 271/2". Measure to nearest 1/8" 4) Tell me if you did this measurement with or without string loop string loop is better) Use your standard release. |
